Here is the official notice published by Office of Controller of Examination, Sanothimi Bhaktapur. As stated in the notice published, the copy-checking hasn't been delayed due to the massive earthquake. The result will be published in usual time as past years. Except 1-2 center no other centers are harmed by earthquake, so it is notified all the student awaiting the result of SLC 2071 to be sure that the result will come in the usual time.

Higher Secondary Education Board (HSEB) has postponed the scheduled board examination of Grade 12 and Grade 11 until the next update. Due to the extreme natural destruction occurred in the whole nation, and keeping all the foreseen and unforeseen difficult situations, the Board has postponed the examination for unknown time period. 


The postponement of examination is supposed to aid the rescue operation. The secured youth manpower are supposed to get involved in rescue operation rather than focusing in the examinations. 

We suggest all the youths to support the local governing and volunteering group to help in the rescue operation. 

Further the Government of Nepal, has declared the state of national emergency. All the school and educational institute will remain closed for the week.

A total of 566,085 students will be sitting the School Level Certificate examination that begins on March 20. The number is higher by 54,920 compared to last year.
According to Ganesh Dhakal, the deputy examination controller of the Office of Controller of Examination (OCE) all the necessary arrangements have been made to complete the SLC exam successfully.
The various statistics of SLC exam 2070 is as follows:
1.       Regular students: 419,352
2.       Exempted students: 146,733
3.       Exam centers: 1,836 (out of which Kathmandu alone has 87 centers)
4.       Number of staff will be mobilized to conduct SLC exam:  53,076
5.       exam superintendents: 1,836
6.       Invigilators: 22,593
7.       Helpers: 7,530
8.       Police personnel: 18,360
The OCE has already dispatched around five million question papers of 52 subjects to 72 districts except in Kathmandu Valley.

The Office of the Controller of Examinations, Sanothimi, has published the schedule for the School Leaving Certificate examinations.

The SLC Board meeting led by Education Ministry Secretary Narayan Gopal Malego on Thursday fixed the dates for the exams. They will be held for nine days starting Chaitra 6, 2070. Around 600,000 students are expected to take their SLC texts. 

As per the schedule, the students will take their Compulsory English exam on the first day, followed by Compulsory Nepali on March 21.

After nine months of the examination held in 2069, HSEB published the result of Grade 11 on 26th Poush 2070. Higher Secondary Education Board (HSEB) is always criticized for delaying in the result publication of +2 level.

Gaindakot Namuna Higher Seconday School(Namuna Science College) has been leading in Science Faculty regarding the overall result of +2 level. This time, the performance was quite better than the previous result although the leading in Education Sector of Central Nepal continues.

This time, Arjan Poudel grabbed an outstanding score of 87.4% who led the result of this academic year. The overall result has been diagrammed below;
